Nespresso Stainless Steel Refillable Pod

 

Description

  • A Nespresso, compatible stainless steel pod that is easily disassembled, to fill with your favourite ground coffee beans.
  • 37mm wide top that fit most Nespresso machines, please check you pods size by measuring the top.
  • Completely manufactured from high quality stainless steel, fitted with food grade silicone seals.
  • You get included, 1 spare set of silicone seals, 1 cleaning brush, 1 stainless steel Nespresso pod.

 

How to use

  • Select the correct grade of ground coffee beans, it must be finer than a filter ground, If you grind your own coffee be aware that varied taste and crema will encountered.
  • Use the Grounds Coffee spoon provided, to fill and lightly tamp the coffee grounds.
  • Make sure the holder threads are free of ground coffee use the brush provided, to remove ground coffee from screw thread, check the lid threads as well.
  • Screw on the lid by 1st turning anti-clockwise to align the screw thread, a audible click will be heard and felt as the beginning of the threads are found, turn clockwise to screw lid on.
  • Never force the lid by turning, if turning clockwise is tight, chances are the threads were not seated properly, retry and align threads before cross-threading, which has no remedy.
  • Do not over tighten the lid, the silicone seals will do their bit to seal, its not a car wheel nut, worst case scenario is that the pod will leak a bit without world war3 happening.

After usage

  • Retrieve from the Nespresso Coffee machines used pods holder, unscrew the top remove spent grounds, and repack.
  • Cleaning is easy, simply remove the grounds by washing it out after unscrewing the lid, Use the brush provided to brush out remaining spent grounds.
  • Refrain from using soapy water as far as possible, but if you must, then rinse thoroughly, no-one wants soapy coffee.
  • Remember this is part of your coffee journey, to achieve the maximum from you coffee, by achieving that sought after cuppa coffee taste and aroma.
  • Check the seals, these should last a lifetime, if you did not over tighten the lid onto the body the seals will remain undamaged.

 

NO-NO’S

  • Do not mis align threads – self explanatory and no warrantee covers stupidity.
  • Do not store without cleaning – if you did, it’s not our fault, it’s your mother’s, she should have wacked this into you with a couple of head smacks.
  • Do not change seals without consideration – The seals should have lasted if you did not cause damage yourself, and No, there are no more spares without huge cost to you.
  • Do not use filter ground coffee – It will result in weak coffee, correct ground size matter a lot.
  • Do not use “old coffee” – Old Coffee result in poor taste, poor aroma, and poor crema, that thick foam on top of your cup of coffee. Old is bad and not the pod’s fault, its yours, making a poor choice of selecting “cheaper” or “marked down” coffee to save a couple of bucks.

  • 51mm wide top that fit most Dolce Gusto machines, please check you pods size by measuring the top.
  • Completely manufactured from high quality stainless steel, fitted with food grade silicone seals.

 

How to use

  • Select the correct grade of ground coffee beans, it must be finer than a filter ground, If you grind your own coffee be aware that varied taste and crema will encountered.
  • Insert the bottom screen into the correct location to seat properly, fit the stainless steel filter pack the grounds in on top and fit the top screen before screwing on the lid.
  • Use the Grounds Coffee spoon provided, to fill and lightly tamp the coffee grounds.
  • Study the pamphlet to ensure to assemble the bottom screen, the filter, the ground coffee and top screen, before screwing on the lid.
